Istanbul Stock Exchange provides clearing and settlement services to its Exchange Members.

In real terms, the Clearing and Settlement Service is the process by which a member balances the transactions by giving or receiving stocks equal to the difference between total purchases and total sales of the same Stock in a Session, and similarly settles the settlement between total payments and total receivables in a similar manner.

In simple terms, it is the balancing of daily transactions based on the balances between purchases and sales and debits and credits.
