SEC chair wishes Bitcoin a ‘sweet sixteen’ for white paper anniversary

In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. SEC, congratulated the 16th anniversary of the release of the BTC white paper, but at the same time he said that the SEC will continue its “regulation by enforcement” policy to protect investors. The SEC’s review department has listed crypto assets as one of its priorities for 2025.
